Lake Superior Welcome & Information Centers
One of the best ways to be introduced to a community or park around Lake Superior is by visiting a Welcome or Information Center. They are usually located upon entering a community, park, or border. The friendly staff at these centers are well versed and knowledgeable about the area. They are often locals that also personally enjoy the attractions, recreation and local hotspots that there is to offer there. You will also find a wealth of information from brochures, guides, and maps. Not only are these places great for information for travelers but they also serve as a great rest stop while on the road, usually providing public restrooms and picnic areas. Some Travel Centers are official Lake Superior Circle Tour Stamp locations. Collect stamps at participating locations and receive your Lake Superior Circle Tour certificate of completion. To receive a stamp collection sheet you can either order the guide or download it.
