The Thunder Bay Pagoda is located in Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. The hexagonal shaped Pagoda was built in 1909 on the waterfront, close to the former train station. At the time it was meant to attract visitors coming in on boats or trains. Today it still sees many visitors either from auto or boat travel and was registered as a National Historic Site in 1986. This is a great first stop when in Thunder Bay to receive information about the city from friendly and knowledgeable staff.
