The Isle Royale Houghton Visitor Center is located in Houghton in Michigan’s Houghton County. This Visitor Center is the home port for the Isle Royale National Park’s Ferry, the Ranger III. If you’re a private boater, you can get a boating permit for your visit prior to heading out to the Isle Royale.
