Ironwood is located in Michigan’s Gogebic County. Ironwood has a population of 5, 387 and was founded in 1889. This area is most well-known for being home to the “World’s tallest Native American” at 52 ft (15.8 m) which is a statue made of fiberglass of Hiawatha’s tribal leader. Some of the most popular things to do include visiting the famous Ironwood Theater, Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Miners Memorial Heritage Park, Ironwood Historic Depot Park, and camp in Curry Park.
