The Prince Arthur’s Landing is located in Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country on the shore of Lake Superior. This waterfront offers recreation, events, activities, and scenery for all seasons. There is a full service marina with 271 slips available for residents and visitors. Watch as sailboats and ocean bound ships are coming and going. Walk along the path ways and view art installations and sculptures throughout Prince Arthur’s Landing. The iconic land formation “The Sleeping Giant” can be seen from the park.
The Baggage Building Art Centre is located in a renovated historic freight shed and is open to the public year round free of charge and is a space that showcases local artists and arts activities. There is a splash pad that is converted into an outdoor skating rink with a fireplace in the center in the winter. During the summer enjoy “Live on the Waterfront” every Wednesday evening.
