The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Headquarters is located in Bayfield in Wisconsin’s Bayfield County. The historic brownstone building, formerly a courthouse, is the Apostle Islands ranger headquarters with interpretive displays, information center and gift shop. This is the ideal place to stop before heading out to the Apostle Islands and mainland lakeshore for all the information you need.
