The David Thompson Astronomical Observatory is located at Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. This observatory is home to one of the largest state of the art telescopes in Central Canada. The fleet of powerful telescopes allow for observing galaxies, nebulas, star clusters and planets with incredible detail and clarity. They offer many interesting events and programs all year round to explore the sky and discover the cosmos to the very edge of the observable universe.
