Chippewa Park is located in Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. The park boasts a small midway with a beautiful Historical Carousel (Merry-Go-Round), Tilt-a-Whirl, and bumper cars and kiddie rides. There is a public swimming beach and children’s play ground. You can even grab a snack and an ice cream at the concession stand and visit the park’s history exhibit. There is a viewing area with benches to sit and soak in the view of the Natural Wonder – the Sleeping Giant
The campground offers tent and RV sites and log cabin rentals. There are 26 RV sites with 15/30/50 amp service along the shore of Whisky Jack Creek with a comfort station and showers. There are seven wheelchair accessible log cabins. Each equipped with electric heat, 2 queen sized beds and a table and chairs.
Sandy Beach, located on the shore of Lake Superior, is a popular swimming spot for families on hot summer days.
