Chapel Loop is located in Munising in Michigan’s Alger County. It is a 10 mile (16 km) loop trail on the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Hikers will be have access to views of cliffs, coves, arches, and rockfalls from atop the sandstone bluffs these features are made of. The hike begins by crossing the Mosquito River basin, the majority of the route follows the North Country Trail along the cliffs of Pictured Rocks overlooking Lake Superior and Chapel Rock. No pets allowed on this trail.
