Difficulty: Hard

Grand Island Loop is located on Grand Island north of Munising in Michigan’s Alger County. It is a 21.2 mile (34.1 km) loop trail that leads you around the shores of Grand Island. It is considered difficult based on the distance though the terrain is easily hiked or biked with several beaches along the way. If you decide to do the entire loop, make sure you give yourself enough time if you are taking the ferry back that day and not camping for the night. Leashed dogs are allowed.
