Chapel Falls is located 15 miles (24 km) east of Munising in Michigan’s Alger County in the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. To access this nearly 60 foot (18. 2 m) high waterfall, take the Chapel Loop Trail for 1.2 miles (1.9 km). The first view of the falls is from a platform near the top of the cascade. The trail curves from there and you can also catch a view of it through the trees. Parking is available at the Chapel Basin Parking Lot. No pets allowed on this trail.
Travel directions: From Munising go 15 miles (24 km) east on H-58, then turn north on Chapel Road for about 5 miles (8 km) till you reach the parking lot.
