Munising Falls is located is located in Munising in Michigan’s Alger County within the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. This is one of the easiest falls to visit in the county. From the Munising Falls Visitor Center there is a ¼ mile (800 ft) paved trail that leads to two sets of stairs that lead to viewing platforms. Munising Falls is 50 feet high dropping over a sandstone cliff. The falls is also popular in the winter as it has dramatic ice formations. Leashed dogs allowed.
Travel directions: From downtown Munising, go east on H-58. Take a left onto Washington Street till it becomes Sand Point Road. Look for signs right across from Munising Memorial Hospital.
