Thunder Bay Main Lighthouse is located in Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. Built in 1937, the lighthouse is on the break water and marks an entrance to the Thunder Bay Harbor. It is a two story white and red dwelling with the lantern room to the height of 43 feet (13m). The breakwater isn’t connected to the mainland and it is not currently accessible to the general public though it can be seen from the water by boat when entering or leaving the harbor and can be seen from a distance from the Thunder Bay Waterfront.
