Pincushion Mountain Trail is located near Grand Marais in Minnesota’s Cook County. This is a 9 mile (14.5 km) out and back trail along a portion of the Superior Hiking Trail. From the Pincushion Lookout you will have stunning views of Lake Superior, the Devil Track River and Grand Marais. The Pincushion Mountain Trails are not only great hikes but great for bikers and cross country skiers. Leashed dogs allowed.
Travel directions: From Grand Marais turn left onto the Gunflint Trail and continue for 3 miles (4.8 km) till you reach the parking lot and trailhead.
