Judge C.R. Magney State Park located near Grand Marais in Minnesota’s Cook County was originally established as of 1957 and is known for its famous waterfall the “Devil’s Kettle.” Judge C.R. Magney State Park is on the north shore of Lake Superior along U.S. highway 61 Judge C.R. Magney State Park features scenic waterfalls, wildlife observation, and great trout fishing. Some of the main things to do in Judge C.R. Magney State Park include hiking, picnicking, camping, and fishing. The park is open year-round however the campground is closed for the winter and there is less staff throughout the winter months.
