Munising Rear Range Lighthouse is located Munising in Michigan’s Alger County. Built in 1908, it stands 33 feet (10m) tall. The active red light works in conjunction with Munising Front Range Lighthouse. The two red beacons direct toward the East Channel and line up one above the other creating focal planes of 79 and 107 feet above the lake. The Front Range Light can be found on the hillside at the south end of Hemlock Street. The tower is closed though the site is open to the public.
