Mdaabii Miikna Trail is located near Heron Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a 15 mile (24 km) loop trail within Pukaskwa National Park. Mdaabii Miikna translates to “go to the shore trail” in Anishinaabemowin. The trail is accessible from the Coastal Hiking Trail and features serene boreal forest and the impressive Lake Superior coastline at Picture Rock Harbour. This is a backcountry trail meant for overnight hikers.
