Chigamiwinigum Falls is located with Pukaskwa National Park in Ontario’s Superior Country. The falls rush below the park’s White River Suspension Bridge. It is the last set of rapids before the river meets with Lake Superior. The name Chigamiwinigum is Ojibway for “first portage from the lake”. The cascades run for 0.43 miles (700 m) long through White River. This waterfall can be reached along the Pukaskwa Coastal Trail and it would take hikers approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach it.
