Bimose Kinoomagewnan is located near Heron Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) out and back trail within Pukaskwa National Park. The trail takes you around Halfway Lake and is sometimes referred to as Halfway Lake Trail or Walk of Teachings. This hike is dotted with plaques detailing the Seven Grandfather Teachings from Ojibway elders and youth. This hike is more than just about the walk but also the experience of peacefully learning about love, honesty, respect, wisdom, truth, humility and bravery as told in the elders stories and reflected back through accompanying artwork of next generations.
