The Au Train Lake to Lake Superior Trail is located in Au Train in Michigan’s Alger County in the heart of the Hiawatha Forest. This is a paddling trail that is 10.5 miles (16.9 km) beginning at the Au Train Lake Boat Launch located at the end of Campground Road. Paddle through Au Train Lake, navigate Au Train River until you reach Lake Superior. Canoe and kayak rentals are available in the area. Dogs are allowed on this trail.
