Scott Falls is located near Au Train in Michigan’s Alger County along Highway M-28. This roadside fall is truly unique and special for its size. It flows 10 feet (3 m) over a sand stone ledge and pools below it. You can see this waterfall from your car or you can pull over and walk behind the waterfall and under the ledge and even wade around in the small pool beneath. The falls is across the road from the H.J. Rathfoot State Roadside Park. The park offers restrooms, picnic areas and a sandy Lake Superior beach.
