Au Train is located in Michigan’s Alger County. Au Train sits along U.S. highway 28 and is near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Hiawatha National Forest. Au Train has a population of 1,138 and was founded in 1885. This area is most well-known for its beautiful landscapes such as Au Train Point and Falls. Some of the most popular things to do are visiting these landscapes and Red Barn Antiques. They also have canoe and kayak outfitters who can supply you with great equipment to paddle Au Train Bay or out to Lake Superior.
