Au Train Beach is located Au Train in Michigan’s Alger County in the Hiawatha National Forest. This is a sandy beach on the shore of Au Train River where it meets into Lake Superior right along M-28. There is a paved parking above the beach that leads down sandy paths with railing to the beach. The scenic Au Train Beach area offers fun for the whole family including swimming, boating, fishing, camping, paddling, bird watching, and hiking.
