Western Waterfront Trail is located in Duluth in Minnesota’s St. Louis County. This is a 3 mile (4.8 km) out and back, 10 foot wide, gravel trail that offers direct access to the shoreline of the St. Louis River. The trail passes through marshy environments that gives opportunities for observing a multitude of different species of birds as well as aquatic animals. Leashed dogs allowed.

Travel directions: From southwest Duluth, take I-35N to exit 251A onto Cody St. Turn right onto 63rd Ave W. Then right onto MN 23/Grand Ave for 1 mile. Turn left onto Pulaski St and east for one block to the trailhead parking lot.
