Lake Superior Zoo is located in Duluth in Minnesota’s St Louis County. This zoo has more than 140 species of animals in indoor and outdoor habitats on more than 19 acres. Explore some of the worlds greatest animals. There are various tours you can book for all kinds of behind the scenes experiences such as lion feeding, primate painting, a veterinary tour and much more. A fun way to tour the zoo is to hop aboard the zoo train and see all the different habitats. From Africa to Asia to Australia, see and learn about exotic species. Go to the nocturnal building and see the animals that sleep all day like a the adorable two toed sloth. Take a trip to the rain forest at the Primate Conservation Center. After day of animal fun, stop in to the Safari Café for a slice of pizza. The zoo is open year round so you can visit any time you’re in Duluth.
