North Shore Camping Co. is located in Beaver Bay in Minnesota’s Lake County. If you are looking for a glamping experience that blends nature and comfort, you will love the different types of tents. The Kung tälts have king beds for two people and everything you need to relax in the forest. The Dubbeltälts have two queen beds for four people and are cozy and spacious. The bunk tält is ideal for mountain bikers, with two twin bunk beds for four people. The Dubbeltält Hillside tents are also for four people, but they are situated higher up on the hill, offering more privacy and incredible views. They are a bit farther from the Base Lodge showers and bathrooms, but they will help you with your transportation and luggage. No matter which tent you choose, you will enjoy the beauty and adventure of the North Shore.
At the Base Lodge enjoy the comforts and conveniences of the modern facilities, including heated restrooms, tiled showers, plenty of towels, coffee, gear, gifts, snacks, ice, beverages, and a game and book library. Experience the amazing views of Lake Superior from the deck, or have some fun with games, such as Yard Yahtzee, Farkle, giant Jenga, and horseshoes. Relax in one of the three barrel saunas for two people, or use the picnic shelter during the day. At night, enjoy the group campfire and marvel at the starry sky, or cozy up in a yard swing and admire the scenery.
You don’t have to worry about packing any camping supplies, just bring your adventurous spirit. All tents are equipped with lanterns, flashlights, a solar power station, a firepit with grilling tools, a water dispenser, and a camp stove. You will also find all the necessary utensils, dishware, cookware, and cleaning supplies for your meals. You can also enjoy the pool, hot tub, sauna, and lakeshore at Cove Point Lodge. If you bring your furry friend, they also have dog cots, blankets, bowls, and waste bags for a small fee.
