The Nipigon Historical Museum is located in Nipigon in Ontario’s Superior Country. A variety of exhibits showcase the history of the town and surrounding area. From fur trading to lumber to the railroad to the World Record Brook Trout caught out of the Nipigon River, you’ll find interesting displays about all that and more at this museum. You can also pick up the Historical Walk Through Nipigon guide book from here and take a self guided tour through the towns historical buildings and landmarks. Admission is free though donations are always appreciated.
