Difficulty: Hard
Mazukama Falls Trail is located near Nipigon in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a 1.9 mile (3.1 km) loop trail that leads to beautiful Mazukama Falls. The trail has a steep climb for about 500 meters and passes alongside the cascades and waterfalls of Mazumkama Creek. There are a few ropes to help assist with the climb in more difficult areas. Once you reach Mazukama Falls you will want to stay a while and revel in this magical and enchanting setting. The trail then follows the base of Kama Cliffs and down hill back to the trailhead.
Travel directions: Drive approximately 12.4 miles (20 km) east of Nipigon on Highway 17 at 677.4. Turn left onto Camp 81 Road (gravel road) for 200 meters to the parking area and trailhead on the right.
