Magpie Scenic High Falls is located in Wawa in Ontario’s Algoma Country. This picturesque waterfall goes by many names – High Falls, Scenic High Falls, Magpie Falls, High Falls of the Magpie River. Whatever you name it, this waterfall will never disappoint. Standing 75 feet (22.8 m) and 124 feet (38 m) wide its magnificence is definitely worth the visit. Just a few steps from the parking area you’ll find the main lookout with picnic area. There is also a short trail to the right of the falls that allows for different vantage points.

Travel directions: Just south of Wawa off of Highway 17 look out for signs reading “Scenic High Falls” and follow the gravel road for 1.5 miles (2.4 km) until you reach the falls. Amenities include: Accessible restrooms, picnic shelter, BBQs, RV/Trailer Parking.
