La Pointe Memorial Beach is located on Madeline Island in La Pointe in Wisconsin’s Ashland County. A 2.6 mile (4.1kms) ferry ride from Bayfield will bring you to the Madeline Island Ferry Landing. This is a 355 foot (108 meter) long sandy beach on the shore of Lake Superior just moments from the Ferry Landing. The beach offers a playground, restrooms, covered picnic tables and a charcoal grill. It is a great beach for the whole family to enjoy on the shores of this incredible island.
