The Art Gallery of Algoma is located in Sault Ste Marie in Ontario’s Algoma Country. The gallery is situated in an expansive 10,000 sq. foot building on the shore of the St. Mary River. It has a permanent collection of over 5,000 local, national, and international art in a wide array of mediums. What ever styles your typically drawn to there is sure to be works here that you will appreciate and you’ll be introduced to new amazing favorites. On top of the permanent collection, there are approximately 24 exhibitions mounted every year. The Gallery also has a gift shop and café where you can support local artists and bring home a piece of art and enjoy a cup of coffee and discuss the current exhibits.
