The Roberta Bondar Park and Tent Pavilion is located in Sault Ste Marie in Ontario’s Algoma Country along the St Mary’s River. The park can be found along the Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Walkway and has a giant white tent pavilion. The tent is 14,000 square feet and can accommodate 1,750 people. It is host to events, concerts, festivals, fundraisers, and Farmer’s Markets. The park was named in honor of Canada’s first female astronaut, Dr. Roberta Bondar who was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie.
