Wawa Creek Falls is located in Wawa in Ontario’s Algoma Country. This waterfall is a quiet, refreshing stop along the Lake Superior Circle Tour. This modest but charming cascade flows through a forested setting where the sound of rushing water replaces highway noise and the air feels a little cooler, a little fresher. It may not be the tallest waterfall in the region, but what it offers is intimacy. Mossy rock, clear flowing water, and a peaceful creekside atmosphere make it an inviting place to pause, stretch your legs, and reconnect with the landscape.

Accessed by a short but steep trail off Hardy Avenue, the walk down rewards visitors with an up close view of the falls and the surrounding boreal forest. In warmer months, some visitors cool off in the water or cast a line nearby, while others simply linger with a camera in hand, capturing the light as it filters through the trees. Wawa Creek Falls is an easy addition to a waterfall day trip that can also include nearby Silver Falls and Middle Silver Falls, making this small cascade a worthwhile and memorable stop on your journey around Lake Superior.
