Union River’s ‘Big Bear’ Campground is located 15 miles (24 km) west of Ontonagon in Michigan’s Ontonagon County at the entrance to Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park. There are a variety of campsite sizes, some are ideal for tent or smaller campers and others can accommodate larger RV’s, several are along the shores of Lake Superior. The campgrounds amenities include; 30 amp electrical service, modern restroom facility, pump-out station, boat launch, and camp store with boat rentals.
