Union Mine Trail is located near Ontonagon in Michigan’s Gogebic County. This is a 1.1 mile (1.8 km) loop trail within Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. The trail features 10 interpretive plaques that tell the story of the copper mining history of the Porcupine Mountains. Cascading falls can be seen along the trail particularly during rainy seasons. Leashed dogs allowed.
Travel directions: From M-107 for 1.7 mile south on the west side of South Boundary Road.
