Ouimet Canyon Trail is located near Dorion in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a 0.6 mile (1 km) loop trail within Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park. The trail features panoramic views of a 492 foot (150 m) wide gorge and sheer cliffs that drop 328 feet (100 m) straight down to the canyon floor. The trail involves a stunning bridge and boardwalk which connects two platforms with spectacular views of the canyon. Arctic plants, usually found 621 miles (1,000 km) north, survive in the unique environment at the bottom of the canyon. The park offers all terrain wheelchairs to enjoy the canyon. Leashed dogs allowed.
