Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park located in Dorion in Ontario’s Superior Country region was originated as of 1972 and is known for it’s 150-metre wide gorge. Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park is on the northern shores of Lake Superior along highway 17. Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park features a trail and boardwalk that connects two lookout platforms to view the canyon. Ouimet Canyon provincial park is open May – October and is a day-use park with no camping available in the park. Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park is very close to Eagle Canyon home to Canada’s longest zip-line, Wolf River Campground, and approximately half way between Nipigon and Thunder Bay.
