McCarty’s Cove is located Marquette in Michigan’s Marquette County. This is a sandy beach on the shore of Lake Superior. There is lifeguard supervision during high season and while Picnic Rocks may look close, it is advised that you do not swim out to them due to dangerous rip currents. The beach is within walking/biking distance of Marquette’s active downtown area and directly beside Marquette Harbor Lighthouse and the Marquette Maritime Museum.
