Marquette Harbor Lighthouse is located in Marquette in Michigan’s Marquette County. Established in 1853 this “Heart Throb Red” lighthouse stands 40 feet (12m) tall over Marquette Harbor. It sits on a concrete crib at the southern end of the breakwater wall that you can walk to the end of on a paved pathway with railing. Tours are available and conducted for a fee by the Marquette Maritime Museum. The tours begin at the Museum and continue to the lighthouse and up the 50 steps that lead to it’s entrance.
