Picnic Rocks Beach is located in Marquette in Michigan’s Marquette County. This is a sandy beach on the shore of Lake Superior. The beach offers amazing views of Lake Superior, Marquette Harbor Lighthouse and the “picnic rocks” that peek out of the lake past shore. There is a shaded picnic area, playground, restrooms, water fountain and the City Multi Use Path runs along the beach. Swimming is not allowed due to the long shore rip current that run parallel to the shore making it dangerous.
