Marie Louise Lake Beach is located in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, 50.9 miles (82kms) east of Thunder Bay in Ontario’s Superior Country. This is a sandy beach on the shore of inland Marie Louise Lake in the heart of the peninsula. The lake offers milder temperatures than the mighty Lake Superior making it the perfect place to enjoy a day of swimming. The swim area at this public beach are marked with buoys. There is a boat launch, small dock and canoes and kayaks are available to rent from the park store. The park itself offers many opportunities for outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, camping, with miraculous views of the natural wonders, the Sleeping Giant and the Sea Lion.
