Difficulty: Hard
Lane Cove Trail is located on Isle Royale National Park in Michigan’s Keweenaw County. This is a 13.4 mile (21.7 km) out and back trail that drops steeply from the Greenstone Ridge Trail and ends at the Lake Cove campsite. The campsite is along the shoreline and offers picturesque views of the cove, near by islands and even Thunder Bay Ontario, which is 12 miles (19.3 km) away.
Travel to: Visitors to Isle Royale National Park must arrive by boat or seaplane. There are transportation services that depart from Houghton, MI, Copper Harbor, MI, and Grand Portage, MN.
