Ishpeming Trail is located on Isle Royale National Park in Michigan’s Keweenaw County. This is a 14.6 mile (23.5 km) out and back trail that begins at Malone Bay and takes you along the shoreline of Siskiwit Lake to Ishpeming Point on the Greenstone Ridge. Ishpeming Point is the second highest point on Isle Royale at 1377 feet.
Travel to: Visitors to Isle Royale National Park must arrive by boat or seaplane. There are transportation services that depart from Houghton, MI, Copper Harbor, MI, and Grand Portage, MN.
