Windigo Nature Trail is located on Isle Royale National Park in Michigan’s Keweenaw County. This is a 1.1 mile (1.9 km) loop trail that takes you from the Visitor Center and along the hills around Windigo. This is an easy interpretive trail that exhibits the effects over time of nature and man upon Isle Royale.
Travel to: Visitors to Isle Royale National Park must arrive by boat or seaplane. There are transportation services that depart from Houghton, MI, Copper Harbor, MI, and Grand Portage, MN.
