The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center is located in Duluth’s historic Canal Park in Minnesota’s St. Louis County. This Visitor Center and Maritime Museum showcases the Great Lakes’ history and the significance of the shipping industry though intriguing displays. Situated at the foot of Duluth’s famed Aerial Lift Bridge, it is an ideal viewing spot to watch ships coming and going under the bridge and out to Lake Superior.
Hours of Operation: Thursdays – Mondays 10:00-4:30 in summer and fall, and Friday – Sunday in winter.
