Estivant Pines Loop is located near Mohawk in Michigan’s Keweenaw County. This is a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) loop trail within Estivant Pines Wilderness Nature Sanctuary. The sanctuary contains hundreds of 300-500 year old eastern white pines measuring from 3 to 5 feet in diameter. The trail has some exposed roots and rocky so watch you footing. Leashed dogs allowed.

Travel directions: Follow US-41 to Copper Harbor, turn right on Second Street for 1.2 miles (1.9 km). Turn left on Clark Mine Road for 1.2 miles (1.9 km) and turn right on Burma Road for another .65 miles (1 km) to the trail head and parking area on the left.
