Canyon Falls is located 8 miles (12.8 km) south of L’Anse in Michigan’s Baraga County. The trailhead for the falls is located at the parking lot of a roadside park along US-41. The park offers picnic table and restrooms. A short 10 minute stroll brings you to the falls. Canyon Falls is a scenic box canyon and waterfall with many varying levels within the Sturgeon River. It is sometimes referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Michigan”.
