Twin Lakes State Park located in Michigan’s Houghton county was originally is known for being a 175-acre modern campground is located on the southwest shore of Lake Roland. Twin Lakes State Park is on the southern shores of Lake Superior along U.S. highway M-26. Twin Lakes State Park features everything you need from facilities on site to opportunities in outdoor activities. Some of the main things to do in Twin Lakes State Park include summer activities such as fishing, hiking, paddling, ATV-ing, and swimming. The park also offers activities you can do in other seasons such as hunting, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.

The park is open all year round and offers a variety of sites for campers. They offer sites for tenting, small trailers, and RV’s. There is dumping stations and electrical service available onsite as well public washrooms and picnic areas. There is a playground that is perfect for children camping at Twin Lakes State Park and a great beach. If you have a boat there is an accessible boat launch that can be used as well.
