Saxon Falls is located in Saxon, 14 miles (22.5 km) northwest of Hurley in Wisconsin’s Iron County. The waterfall is on the Montreal River along the border of Wisconsin and Michigan. It can also be reached from Ironwood, MI. The waterfall cascades over several drops at an impressive 90 feet (27.4 m) high. There is a dam and power plant here with a boardwalk trail that crosses over the river between the two states.

Travel directions: From US-2, turn north onto WI County Road B (Saxon Falls Road) and continue for 2.5 miles (4 km). Park in the lot near the Power House. The trail is to the right. A vehicle with 4×4 is recommended for this road
