Red Chairs – Fort St. Joseph – Rains Point Trail are located on St. Joseph Island, 46 miles (74 km) south on Sault Ste Marie in Ontario’s Algoma Country. Rains Point Trail is a 0.3 mile (0.5 km) trail that is wheel chair accessible and winds through a wooded area until reaching the 1837 settlement that was founded by Major Rains on the shore of Lake Huron.
